Hike - Carson City

This is a family friendly hike by the Carson River. We will meet up at 1:15 and head out at 1:30.

Beautiful trail and views of green pastures, hills and river. Park in the parking lot but the river and meet by the covered picnic table. Bring water, feel free to invite others!

Distance will be determined based on the participants who show up. Up to 3 miles if the group heads to the Dam.

walk - Minden

(Meet in parking lot off Foothill Rd)

We will gather at the parking lot at 9:15a and head out at 9:30a. We will explore the one of the many trails. Dogs on leash. This around a 3 mile hike with some elevation (Approx. 500′) . Parts of the trail are more sandy. Don’t forget your water!

Picnic In the Park! This is an opportunity for you , your friends and family to connect with others face to face. All ages welcome!

There is a playground. We will meet there! Bring your picnic, blankets, or chairs. Let’s have fun hanging out with each other. There is shade, and a splash pad as well for those who just want to relax and be with others.

We are currently facing a “LONELINESS EPIDEMIC”.

Together, we can do something about it!

We are building community one “Porch” at a time. Inspiring individuals and groups to create Porch Environments all across their community, in their neighborhoods, for the purpose of authentically connecting with others. Intentionally holding space for one another, and lending a genuine helping hand as needed. We are stronger together. As we partner with people like YOU, we can restore safe, caring, and strong neighborhoods, which will transform the way we do life with one another.
