Hike - Carson City

This 4.5ish mile (moderately challenging) hike provides beautiful views and winds along Ash Creek Canyon. Approx Elevation Gain: 500 Ft. We will gather at 1:15 and head out at 1:30p. Plan on 2.5-3 hrs. (Dogs On Leash) Meet at Parking Lot on Foothill Dr & Winnie Ln

The 4th annual Hot Air for Hope will be held at Lampe Park in Gardnerville, NV from May 15-17, 2026! Hot Air for Hope serves as a benefit for the Center for Hope & Healing’s community programs.

Organized by the Carson Valley Balloon Festival and Presented by Carson Tahoe Health, this event is FREE to the public and will include three public balloon launches from Lampe Park at 6:00am each morning (weather dependent).

We are currently facing a “LONELINESS EPIDEMIC”.

Together, we can do something about it!

We are building community one “Porch” at a time. Inspiring individuals and groups to create Porch Environments all across their community, in their neighborhoods, for the purpose of authentically connecting with others. Intentionally holding space for one another, and lending a genuine helping hand as needed. We are stronger together. As we partner with people like YOU, we can restore safe, caring, and strong neighborhoods, which will transform the way we do life with one another.
